Tangier, November 12, 2025Calsina Carré strengthens its strategic presence in Morocco with the official opening of its new logistics center within the Tanger Med Industrial Platform, located in the automotive industry zone and in close proximity to the port complex.

For the company, this new advanced logistics warehouse represents a strategic hub for its North African operations, benefiting from exceptional land, sea, and rail connectivity.

The inauguration ceremony, held on November 12, brought together representatives from the Tanger Med Group, public authorities, the Embassy of Spain in Morocco and its Economic and Commercial Office, as well as senior executives from Calsina Carré. The event highlighted the strategic significance of this new facility for the economic and logistics development of the region.

On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed BENNIS, Managing Director of Tanger Med Zones, stated: “Calsina Carré’s establishment in Tanger Automotive City further consolidates the logistics value chain and supports the competitiveness of industries operating within the Tanger Med industrial platform.”

The new logistics center, already partially operational, spans an area of 18,000 square meters and offers a storage capacity of up to 30,000 Euro pallets. These highly specialized facilities have been designed to meet the needs of demanding sectors such as automotive, textiles, and other key industries. The infrastructure includes 22 loading docks and a warehouse management system (WMS) adaptable to each client, ensuring precise and efficient control of operations.

The site also offers the possibility of creating temperature-controlled areas tailored to specific project requirements and is supported by a highly skilled and flexible team, providing customized, efficient management aligned with global market standards.

Currently, the Catalan multinational ranks among the top three logistics operators in Morocco, with a consolidated network across the country, including its own fleet and warehouses, over 210 local employees (including 130 drivers), and specialized staff both at the Port of Tangier and in its support center in Algeciras. In total, the company manages a fleet of nearly 400 trucks (including those of the Group and its partners) and 650 trailers operating between Europe and Morocco.

According to Ms. Alba Carré, CEO of Calsina Carré: “This opening is the natural result of a business model built on sustainable investment, structured growth, and the development of local talent. It clearly reflects our strong commitment to Morocco and our determination to continue expanding and strengthening our logistics capabilities, in order to deliver ever more integrated, flexible, and customer-centric solutions.”

For Calsina Carré, this new platform marks a key milestone in its international diversification and expansion strategy, and serves as an essential lever to strengthen synergies between Morocco and Europe. This is made possible through seamless integration with its European fleet and operations at the Port of Algeciras, facilitating Strait crossings and customs efficiency.

With an average annual growth rate of 30%, Calsina Carré continues to position Morocco as a strategic logistics hub connecting continents, delivering high-quality, proximity-based services focused on creating added value for its clients.
