Tanger Automotive City

The TAC Industrial Activity Zone covers an area of 600 hectares, and is mainly focused on the automotive sector (equipment manufacturers, logistics operators, subcontractors and other services).

Situated at a close proximity to the Renault Nissan Plant, Tanger Automotive City is a motor of the Automotive Industry in Northern Morocco.

Overall, it generated +9 million euros of exports in 2022 alone, alongside +1 million euros generated by other sectors within the zone.

In addition, the sector’s competitive advantages provides a strong base for regional development: an international and highly skilled network of equipment manufacturers, the proximity to the Renault Tanger Med site, a logistics system offering optimal connectivity, and considerable regional potential both in terms of raw materials, energy abundancy, and human capital.
