Tanger, May 6, 2026 – SFC Automotive Solutions has inaugurated its new industrial facility within the Tanger Med Industrial Platform.
The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of H.E. Karim Zidane, Minister of Investment, Convergence and Public Policy Evaluation of the Kingdom of Morocco, alongside the senior management of Mutares and SFC Solutions, represented by Lennart Schley, Board Member & Chief Operating Officer at Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, Johannes Laumann, Board Member & Head of Investments at Mutares, Fabio Morandi, Chairman of SFC Automotive Solutions, and Federico Dominguez, Chief Executive Officer of SFC Automotive Solutions.Mr. Ahmed Bennis, Managing Director of Tanger Med Zones (TMZ), and representatives of local authorities were also in attendance.
Spanning 6 hectares, the new facility represents a total investment of €28 million, targeting an annual turnover of €85 million and the creation of 900 direct jobs. The plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of automotive sealing solutions in rubber and thermoplastic, as well as Fluid Transfer Systems (FTS) designed for thermal, hybrid and electric vehicles.
On the sidelines of the inauguration, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the German investment fund Mutares, aimed at establishing a cooperation framework to facilitate access to its portfolio of over 40 multinationals and support their establishment in Morocco.

The Tanger Med Industrial Platform is home to more than twenty German companies active in the automotive, logistics and electronics sectors, having invested over MAD 3 billion, created more than 10,000 direct jobs, and achieved a combined turnover of approximately MAD 9 billion in 2025.-
