Largest Retail Park in North Africa

The commercial area is located on the road between Tétouan and M’diq, near Cabo Negro, and is intended to give the region a commercial appeal and address the particular demands of summer visitors. The first phase will be developed on 30 Ha and will include retail stores, restaurants, and an outlet project.

This zone will allow national and international brands looking to develop their operations to position themselves in a region with strong economic potential and will create thousands of direct and indirect jobs in the region.

IKEA to open its second megastore in Morocco in Tetouan

The new IKEA store will be located in the commercial zone developed by «Tanger Med Zones”. The operation will create 500 direct jobs and 1000 indirect jobs in the region.

World leader in furniture and decorative furnishings, IKEA announced in mid-June the upcoming opening of its second megastore in the Kingdom. The establishment of this new store represents an investment of nearly 38 million euros, which will further boost the economy of the northern region of Morocco.

With a surface area of 16,100 m2, the store will include a 3,700 m2 showroom, a 3,450m2 market concourse and IKEA’s first restaurant with a terrace, which can accommodate up to 250 people. It will also offer a unique outdoor exhibition space in the IKEA universe and in Morocco, in the form of a 500 m2 glass roof, which will house its outdoor furniture selection throughout the year.
